Richmond has a passion for sustainable development in all projects and prides itself in having an alternative approach to historic mining projects.
More and more the world is turning to alternative and renewable approaches for most projects. Richmond finds itself on the cutting edge of sustainable technology and further research. In conjunction with the University of Stellenbosch, Richmond is involved in developing aquaponic technologies to be able to suite African conditions on a commencial scale. Upon completion of the research in Stellenbosch, Richmond aims to have a robust model developed to suite multiple climates and needs.
Richmond have joined hands with numerous role players and experts in the field of aquaponics in order to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and further development.
